Business Technology Presentations

Our Business Presentations are focused on managing technology in the workplace. You will learn how unmanaged internet usage affects productivity and profit, why device management is important, and simple steps to implement for success.

Here is what they are saying ...

The presentation, which was appreciated by the parents who attended, reflected their concerns surrounding children's use of the internet. The material was clear and informative yet did not dramatise the negative aspects raised. It covered all aspects effectively. I was impressed with the advice given which was practical and easy to follow. WebSafety NZ made easy!

Well done and thank you for a great presentation.

Dean

Thank you for the presentations yesterday. They were well received both by the students and the parents. It remains for me a fascinating but frightening subject in so many ways.

This was an informative session that met the needs of all participants, parents of children ranging 5 – 11 years. Each parent was able to go home and immediately implement an idea that would make their child’s online environment safer.

"We recently had Dean Stewart of Websafety NZ  come and run his presentation on internet safety for our local community here at the La Vida centre, it was amazing the response we have had from people regarding the great information given and the professional yet personal manner in which Dean did so. We were so glad to have had Dean come and present to parents with kids of all ages around the need for personal protection when using the internet, and enlighten them to the dangers.

Many people commented on how they loved that it was really about his passion for young people and parents alike staying safe and protected and not at all a sales pitch to them. It was a great night and we would love to see every parent in our nation get the opportunity to have this info presented and get there young person protected.

Thanks again to Dean."   Carl Crocker, Youth Pastor

"Dear Dean

Thank you again for your presentation on Internet Safety to our Year 7/8’s.

It was good to have an independent ‘expert’ to explain the dangers in an impartial and authoritative manner. As your visual survey demonstrated, many of our students had either experienced some of the hazards or were unaware of the traps involved, hence this was a timely reminder and input.

Your method of presentation was well pitched, varied and engaging. In surveying our students it certainly impacted their thinking on this matter and, more importantly, changed some of their internet behaviours.

Your Power Point and anecdotal information was apt and assisted with the overall impact of your presentation.

We will gauge parent interest and let you know in due course should we decide to organise a parent evening.

I would recommend your presentation to other schools.

Best wishes

David Farmer, Deputy Principal Preparatory school, St Andrews

The websafety session led by Dean was outstanding. The content was right on the button and I am convinced that there are few greater issues/challenges for our young people and their parents today than online safety and communication.

Our parents were overwhelmingly positive following the session, as were the staff that attended. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with Dean's presentation to our parent community on Facebook, social networking, texting, internet use and safety. He has up-to-date information which parents found interesting, appropriate and timely.

Dean is a very professional, relaxed and well paced presenter who is prepared to answer questions honestly and directly. Organising the evening with Dean was easy, he paid attention to detail and delivered what we asked of him.

Parents who supplied Dean with an email address were given copies of his presentation in ebook form which means all participants have notes to refer to later.

We will be very happy to use his services again.
